Selecting an animated gay sex bed in Second Life can be an overwhelming task.
There is such a vast selection available in SL – and generally, such a purchase does not come cheap and a few pointers can help narrow the selection down to a few quality suppliers.
Here are SIX TIPS to help select a bed.
1. Sexual Orientation
Decide if you want a bed specifically created for your sexual orientation. Some people are happy to jump on just any bed and couldn’t care less about ball colours or if poses are created for gay or straight lovers.
Our Customers have a definite allergy for pink balls and choose beds that are exclusively created for gay men.
2. Numbers
Decide on how many avatars you will share your bed (or other equipment) with. Do you prefer pure one-on-one contact or do you regularly party with three – This is an important factor to keep in mind when selecting a bed.
3. Animations
Try all the animations in a bed before buying – preferably ask your partner or a friend to join you. You need to be sure that the animations are a fit with what you both like. Pay attention to smooth animated loops. Be aware that you will probably have to adjust the poses to your avatar sizes – if the bed poses aren’t a perfect fit, don’t worry – generally these can be adjusted to your size with relative ease.
Professionally created animations aren’t cheap, so be careful of beds that offer hundreds of poses at bargain prices. Chances are that they are filled with inferior or illegally obtained animations.
4. Engine (the motor in the bed)
Is the seller proud of the engine he/she uses or do they try to disguise their freebie scripts with a bunch of jargon that only confuses you? We use and highly recommend XPOSE as the lead engine of our beds, furniture and dungeon equipment. XPOSE is extremely stable and is the Rolls Royce in bed engines.
5. Compatibility
Is the bed compatible with the genitals and arousal system you use. If you use Xcite!, make sure that your supplier is an authorized Xcite! Partner. Do you wear Tokon? Do you use Restrained Life Relays? Make sure the bed you select is compatible with your needs and lifestyle.
6. Reputation
Now that your selection has been narrowed down, you can go shop knowing exactly what you are looking for. The next thing to consider is the reputation of the creator. Ask around – Do your friends know them. What are their experiences. Do they give good after-sales service. Are their products around in public play/cruise areas…
Lastly, determine if it is important to you if the creators have the same sexual orientation as you have…
